Mr. Ibrahima Sow has been actively involved in assisting immigrants who wish to acclimate into American society. Mr. Sow has almost thirty years teaching others. He began his career in 1987 in Mauritania, where he was a prominent high school teacher and private school educator. He complements the program with his vast knowledge and educational prowess.

Since 2000, Mr. Sow has been working in the pharmaceutical industry. He continues to work within his community on a voluntary basis in and around the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He has a strong desire to serve as a board member and was instrumental in initiating the charity’s by-laws and the conflict of interest policy.

Mr. Sow is the custodian of the charity’s records and filing of any documents. Mr. Sow will ensure that all official records are maintained and are available when required. These include records, minutes, continuity of policies and practices and accountability of the directors and officers. As member of the board, Mr. Sow will maintain records of the board and ensures effective management of the organization’s records; manages minutes of the board meetings, ensures that minutes are distributed to the members shortly after each meeting and sufficiently familiar with the legal documents (articles, by-laws, IRS letters etc.) to note applicability during these meetings.
