Cultural Course

As part of the integration process to the cultural practices in the United States, we have asked volunteers and friends from the community to facilitate workshops on different cultural practices. Adult Citizenship & Dual Language Classes

Utilizing innovative strategies we focus on determining pathways between Level One (L1) and Level Two (L2) ESL classes and workplace English Language programs. We  expand opportunities to engage in combined basic education, ESL, and workforce education. Our adult literacy programs will provide training, resources, and assistance beyond as needed. Homework Assistance & Tutoring

Our staff and volunteers will also provide civic integration for clients. Mentors will help children K-12 with their homework after hours four days per week from 5:00-7:00 pm. We will prepare each client with additional knowledge of English, US history, and civics. Health & Fitness

We realize the importance of health and fitness; therefore, while our clients work towards their U.S citizenships, will offer weekly training sessions to promote a healthy body. We feel it is our duty to promote a healthy active lifestyle and feel that martial arts training will teach self-discipline and socialization skills. Summer Children’s Program

Our Summer Enrichment Program will be offered four to six weeks during the summer. It will help our clients enrich their focus in math and reading comprehension. Interpretation Services

Our staff and volunteers assist immigrants with their job and medical applications, as well as immigration materials as needed. We will interpret and translate items from English to Fulani, French, Wolof and other languages as necessary. During the integration process, we will assist in the reversal from those languages to English as well. We will work hard to make your  transition a success. Employment Assistance

We have partnerships with several corporations and agencies to assist with job placement and employee referrals. The employment process is generally intimidating and can be a cause for anxiety for new immigrants. We will assist those candidates with job placement and when necessary accompany to the job interviews and assistance with online applications.
